Finders International’s part in Keep Britain Tidy, the Great British Spring Clean.

As a part of Finders’ commitment to remaining as environmentally friendly as possible, this year we’ve pledged to be part of Keep Britain Tidy, Great British Spring Clean.

The national event took place between 28^th May and 13^th June and Finders International encouraged staff to ‘Pledge to Pick’, volunteering to pledge an hour one day of the working week to litter pick locally and help keep our streets, parks and beaches clean.

The Great British Spring Clean is now in its sixth year and is the nation’s biggest mass-action environmental campaign. In 2019, more than half a million litter pickers (better known as #LitterHeroes) collected nearly a million bags of litter – equating to 4,308 tons – that would have otherwise remained on our streets and beaches and in our parks.

Managing Director, Danny Curran said, ‘This is an important campaign for Finders to get behind. Not only does this have a positive environmental impact but, by taking a break from their desks and getting outside, this has great benefits for the mental health and welfare of our staff. Well done to all involved!’
