As The Local Government Ombudsman recently released information and guidance regarding Deprivation of Assets, we have also invited ‘Nellie Supports’ who will be outlining what the guidance means for local authority charging and its implications for those who act as Appointee and/or Deputy. For our final speaker, we have ‘Irwin Mitchell Solicitors’ who will look at cases where a DOLS standard authorisation is not in place or not needed for the individual in care and a property needs to be sold by the Deputy.
