On Thursday 13th February Daniel Curran, Managing Director of Finders Genealogists was in a taxi when a story came on BBC Three Counties radio station regarding Peter James Green, a 72 year old man who had died leaving no known next of kin in Bedford. Daniel got in touch with the show and offered to talk to them about people who die intestate, public health funerals and how an heir hunters, like Finders can help. Daniel was invited onto the Iain Lee Show at 7.50am the next morning to discuss the story in more detail and to explain how Finders provide a free next of kin tracing service to councils. The presenter then asked for Finders to speak to the coroner and see if any next of kin can be found for Peter James Green, and then come back on the show to give an update once any relatives are found.
