International Meeting for the IAPPR

Finders International is one of the founder members of the International Association of Professional Probate Researchers Genealogists and Heir Hunters (IAPPR) which held its inaugural AGM in September, bringing together the key players from the international probate research and unclaimed property worlds. Representatives gathered in Hoxton, London to discuss a wide range of issues effecting the industry.

The aims and ambitions of the Association were discussed, along with a review of membership criteria, codes of conduct and other significant features that may influence policy in the members’ own countries or internationally.

This included conversation regarding the activity of government and decision makers that could affect the work of heir hunters and unclaimed property professionals.

Also included was a presentation of IAPPR PR and media campaigns since inception. In the UK alone the IAPPR has generated national newspaper coverage in several important publications and extensive local media coverage. There have been major articles around the world which have brought the IAPPR to the attention of potentially interested parties. Further campaigns media were discussed for the forthcoming year.
